Embercombe provides transformative programmes and courses for university students and young adults from less advantaged backgrounds, as well as for student and staff groups, departments and entire Universities.
The higher education programmes for students are designed to complement and enrich the learning experience. They focus on aspects of education that can rarely be addressed in a typical university setting - aspects that are essential for navigating a world of social, economic and environmental challenges with the potential for a more just and sustainable future.
As long-established people and organisation development consultants, we also work with departments, universities, student and staff groups who want to instigate change initiatives to address some of the pressing issues of our time, build strong and resilient teams, and define their direction they wish to take.

Crossroads
‘Crossroads’ is an intensive weekend designed for students of business related post-graduate degrees, such as MBAs, Sustainable Development, Management, Leadership, and Social Entrepreneurship. It provides space for reflection, replenishment, and the context in which to explore your values and direction: How can you pursue a path of authentic leadership, meaning and purpose and contribute meaningfully during these critical times of change? Crossroads can be booked by a department or student group. (click here for details).
"This weekend filled a gap for me. MBA/University programmes are so busy that there is very little time to think through the bigger questions of why you are there and where you want to go.”
Jessica Lax, Said Business School, Oxford University, 2009
