Climate Community Weekend
For people who are taking action to tackle climate change. An opportunity to
reflect, connect, refresh and be nourished.
£120
Oct 1-3
Following three highly
successful gatherings of people active in the world of climate change,
in September 08, February 09 and October 09 we offer this fourth weekend
in rural Devon.
On the agenda will be opportunities for activity outdoors in the autumnal air, with time spent in the gardens, the woods, the polytunnel and the tool-laden workshops, and indoors with informal meetings round the wood burning stoves and preparing meals in the kitchen, as well as time for open space and 'full plenary' sessions.
You can expect to be gathered with people from corporations, finance, academia, NGOs, self employed professionals, politicians and community groups.
You are invited to join us if taking action on climate change is a huge passion in your life.
Previously, many new and fruitful connections were forged - and that is the emphasis of this weekend. We don't expect to 'split the atom' on the climate challenge (so to speak), but we may go some way to helping create the team that does. And you can expect generous knowledge sharing, advice giving and listening (it will be a good place to bring your latest thinking or project idea and chew it over).
7pm Fri - 3pm Sun. Price inclusive of all organic, home-cooked meals
from Friday evening to Sunday lunch and accommodation in shared yurts
with wood burning stove.
